MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Univision Network today announced that it is set to finish the February sweep period as the #4 network in broadcast primetime among all Adults 18-34 (989,000) and Persons 12-34 (1.2 million), ahead of NBC. Additionally, the network maintained its fifth-ranked position among Adults 18-49 (1.8 million) and Total Viewers 2+ (3.5 million) as one of the top overall television networks, regardless of language.

Univision continued to show strength up against its broadcast competitors, out-performing at least one or more of the English-language networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on 22 out of 25 nights or 88% of the time during the February 2011 sweep among Adults 18-34, and 76% of the time (19 out of 25 nights) among Adults 18-49, up 58% from the February 2010 sweep. Additionally:
- Univision’s primetime ratings were higher than NBC’s on 76% of all nights during the sweep, among Adults 18-34, and on half of the nights among Adults 18-49.
- Univision was the #1 network on Friday nights among Adults 18-34.
- Season to date, compared to 2009-2010, Univision is the only top five network delivering growth. Currently Univision is up by 6 percent, with ABC down 7 percent, CBS by 9 percent, NBC by 16 percent and FOX by 7 percent among Adults 18-49 in primetime.
