PALO ALTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Shazam®, the world’s leading mobile discovery company, today announced that Spike TV’s fifth annual “Guys Choice” awards, airing tonight at 9:00 EDST, will be the first Shazamable awards program using Shazam for TV to give the audience access to additional content on a “second screen”, their mobile device.

There will be three Shazamable moments within the show. Two consist of exclusive backstage content featuring some of the “Guys Choice” winners including Mark Wahlberg, Blake Griffin, Jon Jones, Harrison Ford and Jim Carrey. The other is exclusive footage from Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. The “Guys Choice” awards is a star-studded event featuring categories focused on Spike TV’s “guy demographic” and voted on by their international fan-base.

For consumers who don’t yet have the Shazam application on their smartphone, it can be found on iTunes App Store, Android Market, AT&T’s AppCenter, Verizon VCast app store, the Ovi Store by Nokia, Windows Phone Marketplace, BlackBerry App World, and GetJar. The Shazam free App is available with five tags per month and Shazam Encore is priced at $4.99 for a 1-year subscription or a one-time fee of $5.99 on iOS; or a one-time fee of $4.99* on all other platforms.
