Poll: When did you join the HDTV ownership club?
Posted on June 20, 2010 | No Comments
Since you're reading this, we'll guess that you have an HDTV (or three) in your possession but not everyone got on board the movement at the same time. So let it be known, did you suffer through the early days, with only a few channels, watching the Olympics a day behind and no HD movies on disc? Or are you a latecomer who jumped into a world full of cheap Blu-ray discs, downloadable HD and more HDTV channels than service providers think we can count?

Poll: What’s your primary source of HD?
Posted on May 31, 2010 | No CommentsWe're sure you get HD from a number of different places, but until the software engineers that make Engadget work add the ability to create polls that allow you to vote for more than one answer we're going to have to stick with these types of questions. That's ok though because everyone has one favorite source of HD content and we want to know what it is. If you do have two, you're just going to have to decide on a favorite. With all the talk of cord cutting the results of this one could prove to be interesting.

Poll: What type of HTPC do you use?
Posted on May 16, 2010 | No CommentsThe latest Atom processors have brought some pretty small form factor PCs that seem like a perfect fit as a Home Theater PC, but these small boxes come with plenty of caveats which means there's plenty of room in the market place for others options. The easiest option is to just grab a regular PC and go, but most PCs don't exactly blend into a HT rack and saying there's a wide arrangement of HTPC cases is an understatement. So we want to know, what type of HTPC do you use? A new small form factor, a half height HTPC case, or what?
